Another successful charity event was held last Friday at the Boulcott's Farm Heritage Golf Club, with their brand-new clubrooms opened only 1 week ago.

It is an Ambrose format of teams of 4 comprising of, wives, husbands, partners, workmates, social golfers, etc.  The maximum handicap was 30 for men and 36 for women.  For an Entry Fee of only $25, or $100 per team, this covered the Green Fees, Bar Snack, Prizes and the donation to Te Omanga Hospice.

Thanks especially to all Sponsors and of course the participants, over $11,000 was raised for Te Omanga Hospice.  We are very proud to say well over $100,000 has been raised for them over the years we've been running this event.
Teeing off at 5:30pm, amongst some passing showers in somewhat chilly conditions there were lots of laughs along the way.  One of our Corporate Members, Tony Doile, got the closest to the hole prize, while his wife took away the longest drive by a female prize!

The evening was concluded with Biddy Harford of Te Omanga Hospice receiving our donation and a special award given to Paddy and Annette Wells for their outstanding management of this event for many years.
