Scheduled for 11-13 May, District Governor, Mitch Brown’s Rotofest Event promises to be a lively affair and it would be great to have a good turnout from our club. Last count there were 15, so there is room for many more!!

Last Meeting: Our own member, Dr. Dragos Bratasanu, with his partner Anca
Wow, what an inspiring evening! After selling their home in Croatia, Dragos and Anca donated all sale proceeds to a local church, then set off on their worldwide adventure. To learn more about his remarkable life so far, HERE is his story.
After 3 years travelling he founded The Amazing University and has just released a movie called, "The Amazing You", viewable HERE. It's their wish to see how many lives they can help to develop, or change; one couldn't help thinking what a wonderful movie to share especially with young people, the unemployed and those suffering from mental health.
Sadly, we will not see them for the next 3 months as they are off again exploring more possibilities and we will look forward in anticipation to their return.
Week's Parting Thought:
"If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito!" - Dalai Lama
On Anzac Day, I was privileged to lay a wreath on behalf of the Club, at the service on the Anzac Memorial Plaza. Our thanks to the generosity of Rob Sinclair for providing the wreath materials and the hands of Helen Renor who prepared it.
In 1962 when Joe Tomlinson started his one-man painting business from his home in Epuni he had no idea that 56 years later the company would be what it is today.
Please study and plan ahead, especially if you are on duty to write a Bulletin Contribution. A reminder that it's also your responsibility to find a replacement if you are unable to fulfil your duty.
