LAST MEETING: Website & Social Media Familiarisation
To help members to better understand the features of ClubRunner(CR), our new Website, and other aspects of today's technology, Brian Klee gave a "live" presentation showing many of its features. Like the story of Alice in Wonderland, he likened CR as a ‘magnificent garden’ of information to be explored; without fear.
Our new website www.easternhuttrotary.org.nz features include our Calendar, Bulletins, community projects & stories, documents, resource links, etc. It is a living centre that members and potential members can view online day or night. Clipboards can be discarded and replaced with online registration for future projects and events.
Anyone with a ‘smartphone’ (Apple or Android), can now download the Clubrunner App. Calls and emails to Members can be automatically actioned using your phone (or iPad), Calendar, Events, and Stories are also displayed.
A few website sections (including District 9940’s) contain confidential material and access is denied, dictated by prescribed Access Levels. Everyone must register and “Log-in” to enter these areas. He encouraged everyone to register now and update “Edit My Profile”, including the “Security” section.
