"I've been drawing all my life but it was only after I retired that I took up art seriously. I was prevailed upon to join the committee of Hutt Art Society and was made a vice president because nobody else wanted the job. Within 18 months the President died and still nobody wanted the job!

Basically I am a landscape painter but I also enjoy life drawing (nudes) and portraits. I was a cartographer before I retired.

My wife Pam is a singer and my oldest son is a singer/composer so we are quite an artistic house."
