Changeover - Mike Fackney - Outgoing President

President Mike welcomed all members, wives, husbands, partners, and friends, with a special welcome to wives of passed members.

Presentations were made for the following Awards:

The ‘New Incentives Trophy’ was awarded to David Gledhill and Richard Perry for organising the wonderful excursion through the Wairarapa, with lunch at the historic Gladstone Hotel. This outing both provided an opportunity for fellowship, and a chance to invigorate ourselves to continue in our quest to help others.

Message from Incoming President Glenda

What a wonderful night to be amongst family and friends, new faces and old for Changeover. The night could not have been better than it was. Thank you Ron for all your hard work behind the scenes, you and your helpers. We were blessed with beautiful food, entertainment and the most amazing speech from Mike.

The awarding of the cups could not have gone to more deserving committees and events. I say that with pride being on the International Committee this past year. More importantly the recognition to Tony and Jaye with the Sapphire pins was right and just, for the service they both continue to give Eastern Hutt Rotary.

There are so many people to thank who continue to support and encourage us. I look forward to the year ahead with some trepidation that I can follow Mike's great lead.
