* Guest Speakers

Can you please put your thinking caps on and suggest speakers for next year. If you have any suggestions can you please discuss with President Glenda.

* Passing of Russell Good

It is with sadness that President Glenda has advised the passing of our fellow Rotarian, Russell Good. Russell was a respected and valued member of our club, and his contribution and fellowship will be fondly remembered. On behalf of our Rotary Club, we extend our deepest sympathies to Marion and loved ones at this difficult time. Russell's funeral will be held on Wednesday 14 January at noon at the Knox Church, 574 High Street, Lower Hutt.

Trailer Raffle

Thank you to everyone who assisted with the trailer raffle in Queensgate.

John Matthews provided an update on the raffle. Sales were up from last year. Tony will give us some final numbers at Monday's meeting.

The winning numbers of the raffle were:

1st prize - 22872

2nd prize - 24660

We have the very unusual situation where the winner of the trailer and contents does not want the prize. She wants to donate it to a charity/charities. So we have to decide on what to do with that over the next couple of weeks.
