Last Meeting:Visiting Friendship Force Rotarians
On Monday night we had a visit from the Friendship Group from Vermont and New Hampshire and their hosts. They were very friendly (of course) and were enjoying their visit.
They spoke of their clubs and their States, showing a display pictures. The two States are not unlike NZ but with a far more spectacular during Fall and with far harsher winters. We now where these geographical areas are, i.e. the extreme North East USA (i.e. top right).
Interestingly, some of their neighbouring clubs straddle the border with Canada – one wonders what will happen if/when you-no-who decides to build another wall. David Glenhill said he was so pleased to receive a delightful set of Vermont/New Hampshire flag cufflinks and needs to find a shirt that has holes for cufflinks!
A dedicated few have been working hard during this holiday period to present this inaugural event. Make it a family event and please share this information with your friends too - especially if you're on Facebook!
