* Club Members and Partners Social Dinner
Wednesday 17th May 2023 at 5.30pm
First Choice Restaurant, 180 Jackson Street, Petone (on south side between Sydney and Nelson Streets).  Cost $35 per person plus BYO alcohol.  
Register your expression of interest to Linda (with names and number attending) ASAP please by email to: linda.goss-wallace@raywhite.com
Payment will be invoiced by Tony, in the usual way. Linda will need definite numbers and dietary requirements by Monday 8th May. There will be no refunds for those who commit to attend then can't attend on the night.  
 
* Collection for Te Omanga Hospice 
A board will be circulated at next Monday's meeting looking for volunteers to assist with the collection on Saturday 20 May at the ground floor entrance to Farmers in Queensgate.

What Members do in their "Spare Time"
The question was “What do you do in your spare time”?  the real answer is I’m actually trying to decide if I have any.  In the hours that I don’t work or are not involved in community events or Council meetings I try to relax with a good book with an Author I love, such as JD Robb or Nora Roberts.  Unfortunately I’ve read most of their books so have to wait for a new release to happen.  I’m not good at being patient so will generally resort to buying magazines to pass the time.

Walk for Mental Health 2023 
Shelley advised that this year's Walk for Mental Health raised $3000 for Youthline. A brilliant effort by all those involved.
