General Notices

Please Check Roster Each Week
The Roster can change weekly with absences, etc. so please check the Roster each week to see if you have a duty.

Absences from Rotary
If you are going to be absent from Rotary for any length of time please let Mike Fackney know so he does not put you on the roster while you are away.

New Deadline for Reporting Absence from Monday Evening Rotary Meeting
At a recent Board meeting of Eastern Hutt Rotary, there was discussion regarding minimising food wastage from the meal provided for us all.
The Board decided that giving earlier notice to Chalet Catering of absences would help achieve less wastage - this being because some of the food preparation takes place on a Sunday afternoon.
The Board now asks that, from now on, all absences from Monday night Rotary meetings should be communicated to Tony Cornelius by 7pm Friday evening - NOT left till Sunday.

"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world. The unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
      - G B Shaw
