Last Meeting:Visit to Hutt City Council's new Civic Centre.
Hosted by the Mayor & Mayoress, Ray and LInda Wallace, and Deputy Mayor & his wife, David & Yvonne Bassett, it was an opportunity meet and great, including to visit the Hutt City Council's impressive new Civic Centre. Many of us had no idea how flash this was!
If you've not been there, you should take a wander in there to witness Hutt City's impressive facilities - for a taste of this, HERE is an example of what we were introduced to.
Special thanks to our Honorary Member, David Bassett, for your generous time and showing us through. The evening was topped off with the Mayor, Deputy and their wives all joining us for a buffet meal at theForbidden City. Thanks Jaye for organising a memorable visit and evening.

Please study and plan ahead, especially if you are on duty to write a Bulletin Contribution. A reminder that it's also your responsibility to find a replacement if you are unable to fulfill your duty.
Steven is a Sergeant in the Hutt Valley Police and has recently been seconded onto YOUth Inspire (YI) for three months to help them set-up a community driving school. The emphasis is on setting up a restricted driving course so at risk youth from Wainuiomata, Naenae, Taita and Stokes Valley, have a pathway to progress from their learner licence to their restricted licence.
He and Ali will expand on this very worthwhile community initiative.
