A while ago, I watched on TV a documentary about a monk in Ukraine who, although he had nothing, he had a dream of building a monastery where he could care for the orphans, the sick and the abandoned children.

* "The Vicar of Dibley": Friday 13 July at Hutt Repertory Theatre (Western side of Epuni Station). Meet 7.30ish for drinks, play starts at 8.00. Collect tickets ($20) next Monday, or call David Gledhill to arrange to collect at the theatre. Everybody welcome - partners, friends, and neighbours.
 
* Rental Property: Dragos and Anca are returning on 1st August and want somewhere to rent. Do you know of any available accommodation?
 
* Meal Apologies: Just a reminder that if you are unable to attend the Monday night meeting, apologies should be with Judy and Dave Morris (either by email or phone) by 4pm on Sunday. We provide Chalet with the estimated numbers on Sunday night and the number we give is the minimum number they charge for. If you do not apologise, and do not turn up, then we will charge you for the meal and we will be charged by Chalet. If you are bringing a guest, please advise us likewise by the Sunday so we can include in the numbers.  Also meal monies for the month are due on the first of the month by Direct Credit, or the first Monday of the month if paying by cheque or cash.
