Last year, Eastern Hutt Rotary approved a donation towards the salary of a Community Health Monitor. The photo above and others below have been received along with their thanks from Dharamvir Singh in India.

* Jan Palmer - update:Jan is doing really well after surgery and thanks everyone for their kind thoughts. The operation was a complete success, so apart from further surgery to reattach vital lines in her body, no further treatment is necessary. She will be returning to Rotary for part meetings in the interim to ensure she gets the rest she needs to recover well.

* New Year's Celebration: The New Year was welcomed in in style by a few of us at a very enjoyable Dinner Dance organised by the Sri Lankan Friendship Club. Thanks to Gregory de Costa for inviting us.
