In place of our guest speaker, President John spoke to the club about future fundraising initiatives resulting in a lively discussion on the subject together with several other items.
Last Monday we sadly learned that Marion Gledhill had passed away that morning.
Marion passed away peacefully with David by her side at Hutt Hospital, after a short Illness. Marion was the dearly loved wife of David for 52 years, and a loyal friend to many.
A celebration of Marion’s life will be held in St Ronan’s Church, 234 Muritai Rd, Eastbourne, on Monday 7th August 2023, at 11.00am. For those family and friends unable to attend Marion’s service, you can view the live stream link at https://vimeopro.com/withloveweremember/mariongledhill
