A Message from President John
Hello and Happy New Year to everyone.

I hope you have all had a nice holiday break and got time to catch up with family and friends.  The weather was pretty changeable around the Christmas and new year period but seems to have settled now and we are getting some lovely warm summer days.  2024 is going to be a busy year.  We have coming up the Golf day for Te Omanga Hospice along with the Petone Fair run by the Petone rotary club. They have asked us for assistance with marshalling etc. like we did last year.  We also have Healthy in the Hutt,  Walk for Mental Health and movie & quiz nights in the planning stages.

The Queensgate raffle was a mixed bag in December.  A huge thanks to Mike Fackney who arranged the duty roster again.  It's always a big job.  Also a big thanks to everyone who helped out selling tickets.  Ticket sales were less in numbers, but due to the ticket prices going up, we have ended up slightly up on the previous year. More information will be provided at our next meeting.

Hope everybody is well. See you all on Monday evening.

Regards
John
