Despite a number of pull outs from this year's Healthy in the Hutt, the event went really well. We had about 18 exhibitors who all had amazing interactive stalls. Crowd numbers were good and the atmosphere was amazing. Also feedback from the exhibitors suggests they are all keen to come again next year.
A massive thanks to Mike, Paul, Robin, Absie, Tony and Jenny, my Paul, Anne and Jaye. They enabled the event to run smoothly by helping in the lead up to the event plus being there and helping on the day.
A further thanks to all of you who donated goods for the draw.
Thanks to Chris Martin who made the delicious pumpkin soup and to Countdown Upper Hutt for the rolls and boxes of fruit.
Lastly, thanks to the staff at Walter Nash who helped us with the set up and then had a major clean up job after the event.
This event makes a huge difference to the Community and its exciting to see a number of people who now come regularly each year. The cost to run this event to the Club is minimal thanks to the support of Countdown, Chris and Walter Nash Stadium who provide the venue for free.
Healthy in the Hutt is an outstanding success in the way it informs people about health providers, wellness and keeping safe. It makes a difference.
