Brook Waldron Hazel Schapel
On Tuesday 6 November, I represented us at The Naenae College Senior Prize giving. It was heartening to see so many students from a wide variety of backgrounds being recognised for their achievements. The reaction from the student body to the awards showed a heartening generosity of spirit and a happy pride in their school.
With pride, I presented two awards of $1,000 each for these deserving school leavers for their tertiary education next year. The awardees above were Brook Waldron, who is planning to study Visual Design, and Hazel Schapel, who is going to be studying Engineering.
Eastern Hutt Rotary congratulate these two worthy students and wish them every success in the future.
