Thanks to everyone involved in our Pink Ribbon Breakfast, this was an outstanding success! In fact, we had to turn people away as we couldn't accommodate more than 100 people!
As advertised, special guest was renowned breast surgeon, Mr. Burton King who gave a very enlightening and interesting talk. One person remarked, "He was simply the best; a very clever man. The message was loud and clear - see your doctor, even if you feel uneasy about the outcome as most often the condition is treatable."
Special thanks to Marion who did an amazing job on the flowers, that were the centerpiece on each of the tables - she spent hours doing them. Also very grateful thanks to Chalet Caterer's, Naomi and Graeme, who both stayed late on Monday night to help us set up the hall, and then again on the day getting the food ready and cleaning up afterwards. In fact, Graeme was the last one to leave!!
