Robin began by thanking Glenda for her committed and well‑balanced year as President, noting that managing Rotary responsibilities alongside her role as a City Councillor was no small task, yet she carried it out with dedication. Robin also acknowledged Past District Governor Carol Green and District Governor Brent Gerrard for joining the occasion and supporting the event. He also thanked Kenny Mill, our excellent entertainer for the evening.
Robin then outlined the transition into his own term, expressing confidence in the knowledgeable team supporting him.
He confirmed the Committee Directors as David Gledhill for Youth & Community, Errol Tong for International, and Gary Stratton for Environment.
Robin stated that his priorities for the 2026–2027 year would centre on strengthening membership, promoting mental health, and fostering a sociable, cheerful club environment. He concluded by expressing his hope that, when the year is complete, members will look back on it as both successful and enjoyable, reflecting positively on the collective efforts of the Club.
