Last Friday evening Rotarians together with work colleagues, family members and friends gathered to enjoy an evening of wine tasting, food and of course great fellowship to raise funds for medical equipment for the Wellington Regional Children’s Hospital.
Whilst the weather was not great, eight vintners from the Wairarapa braved the conditions, travelled to the Hutt Valley, and provided us with the opportunity to taste their boutique wines. They were as follows - click HERE.
Two great auction prizes and four raffle prizes gave everyone an opportunity to financially support our cause and have some fun in the process. A special thanks to Sue Darling and to all involved. It was a great night. We were able to raise in excess of $5,000.00 on the evening.
