2018 President's Changeover Dinner:

A very memorable dinner was held at Avalon Pavilion last Monday.  It was that time when President Richard passed over the 'Chain-of-Office' to the incoming 2018-19 President, Pat Heffernan.  Before this took place, a number Awards were presented and Richard spoke glowingly of his year.  For photos of the occasion, click HERE.

Week's Parting Thought

"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not, nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not, unrewarding genius is a;most a proverb. Education will not, the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are the omnipotent. The slogan, “Press On” has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race." ~ Calvin Coolidge
